Volunteers are the heart of Bandaged Paws!
Whether you have a few hours a week or want to help with fundraiser events, your time and care make a real difference for the animals in our rescue.
From walking dogs to helping at events, there’s a role for everyone.
Start by filling out our online volunteer application, found at the bottom of this page. This helps us learn a bit about you and your interests.
After your application, you’ll receive an automated email (check your junk mail!) with two forms:
While the enrollment form may feel similar to the application, it’s necessary to get you fully set up in our system.
Once your forms are submitted, you’ll receive login details for Volunteer Scheduler Pro. Accessible through a web browser or mobile app, this system lets you manage your schedule anytime, from anywhere.
Book shifts that fit your schedule and you can easily adjust or manage your commitments anytime, giving you the flexibility to volunteer when it works best for you.
Some roles (like dog walking or event support) can be started right away, while others (like animal care) require orientation and training. These opportunities will appear in the scheduler as they become available.
Take dogs for walks or play with them in the yards. Note: we have mostly large dogs with minimal leash training.
Daily 1-hour shifts: 10am–4pm (starting every hour)
A crucial ongoing task to keep the facility clean and safe. Help fold and put away linens and blankets or wash/sanitize dishes, toys and litter boxes.

Support our events and fundraisers either behind the scenes or in public-facing roles:
Event Volunteers: interact with the public, handle dogs/cats and provide information.
Fundraiser Volunteers: prep packages, organize supplies and assist with event logistics.
Shifts and time commitment vary based on events.
Assist with transporting animals, donations, medications or other items as needed
