Hamlet is what we like to call a thick boy! He’s large-framed, wonderfully cuddly, and carries his extra chub with confidence. Once Hamlet decides you’re his friend, prepare yourself for plenty of affection and companionship.

This charming gentleman has a friendly personality and knows exactly how to win hearts. He’d love nothing more than to find a home where he can settle in, be adored, and enjoy all the cozy comforts life has to offer.

Hamlet does not do well with dogs, so a canine-free home would be best for him. He can, however, live with other cats, provided they’re the calm, easygoing type who are perfectly happy spending their days lounging on the couch. Hamlet isn’t looking for a wild party-animal roommate.. he’d much prefer a fellow couch potato who understands the importance of a good nap!

 Beethoven is one unforgettable boy!

This gorgeous all-white sweetheart has the most striking mismatched eyes and a very special superpower: he’s deaf. Because he can’t hear you coming, Beethoven startles easily but once he realizes you’re there, he is absolutely thrilled to see you!

And this boy has something to say! Beethoven loves to yell, and since he can’t hear himself, he has absolutely no idea just how LOUD he is. Expect plenty of enthusiastic conversations from this adorable, expressive guy.

Beethoven can live with other cats, but he needs feline friends who understand personal space and will be respectful of his boundaries. He has quite a few scars from his time living outside and getting into fights, likely because his deafness meant he couldn’t hear other cats approaching. He can be easily frightened when startled, so a calm, considerate environment will help him feel safe and confident.

Once Beethoven knows he’s safe, though, he’s all heart. He’s a unique, lovable boy who deserves someone willing to understand his world and appreciate all the loud, joyful love he has to give.

   Meet Poutine, a sweet little girl who is still discovering that people aren’t so scary after all.

Poutine is a very shy kitten who prefers to quietly watch from the sidelines while her fellow kittens enjoy their attention and cuddles. But day by day, she’s becoming a little more curious. She’s starting to wonder what all the fuss is about.. and, more importantly, starting to decide that maybe she’d like some of that love for herself!

Poutine is still quite shy and a little shut down, so she’ll need a patient family who will give her the time and space she needs to feel safe. A home with older, respectful children (teenagers would be ideal) would be the best fit for this gentle girl.

The wonderful thing about Poutine is that she’s still so young. She has her whole life ahead of her to learn that gentle hands mean love, cuddles are wonderful, and people can be trusted. With patience, kindness, and time, we’re sure this little baby will discover just how sweet life can be.

  Meet Fry! Fry is a sweet little black kitten with a splash of white on her chest and a gentle soul that’s still learning how to be brave. She can be quite timid and is easily startled by unfamiliar people, sounds, and situations, so she’ll need a patient home that’s willing to let her settle in at her own pace.

Fry would ideally join a home with a friendly, confident resident cat who can take her under their wing. Because Cheese Curd still has a lot to learn, she would really benefit from having a friendly, confident resident cat in her new home. A feline companion who can show her the ropes, encourage her to explore, and demonstrate that humans aren’t so scary would be a wonderful source of comfort and confidence for her.

She has a wonderfully quirky personality and can send some very mixed signals.. she may give you a little smack one moment and then immediately come right back asking for pets! When it comes to other cats, Miffy does great! She’s social and enjoys feline company, although she hasn’t quite mastered the concept of personal space. Peppermint Patty is happiest simply coexisting with her people. She doesn’t need to be the centre of attention or glued to your lap to enjoy your company. She appreciates having you nearby, building trust at her own pace and settling into the comfort of knowing she belongs. And if you want to speed up the friendship process? Snacks certainly don’t hurt! This girl is wonderfully food motivated.

When it comes to other cats, Gundam is a little more particular about his friends. He can be growly around other felines, so his ideal home would be one where he can reign as the one and only cat and enjoy all the attention for himself. Nelly would thrive as a cherished companion cat in a calm, loving home. Because of some difficulties in her previous home with other cats, she would ideally prefer to be the only cat in the household. Hackysack absolutely loves pets and has an adorable habit of rolling onto his belly to show you just how much he’s enjoying the attention. 

He’s also very food motivated, which makes treats a great way to earn his trust and help him come out of his shell.

Because Hackysack needs time to feel comfortable, he’s looking for a patient, understanding home that will let him build confidence at his own pace. He would do best in a quiet home without small children, where he can settle in and learn that he’s safe and loved.

  Meet Pearl! Pearl is a beautiful Persian kitten with the most stunning brownish-green eyes and an equally beautiful personality. She is incredibly sweet, social, and affectionate, and she absolutely loves being around people. Pearl also adores other cats and would be happy to have a feline friend in her new home. With proper, positive introductions, she could learn to live with dogs as well.

As lovely as Pearl is, she comes with some important care requirements that her future family will need to be prepared for. Pearl is deaf, so her family will need to be mindful of approaching her in ways that don’t startle her and helping her navigate the world without relying on sound.

Her gorgeous Persian coat is made up of long, very fine fur that mats incredibly easily. Regular brushing and grooming will be an essential part of keeping Pearl comfortable and healthy.. not just an occasional spa day! She’s also an adorably messy eater and has a talent for getting wet food all over her face, so she’ll need her face gently wiped and cleaned after meals when necessary.

Pearl originally came into our care after there was concern that she had ingested part of a toy. She underwent surgery, but thankfully, no foreign material was found. Because of this history, Pearl’s future family will need to carefully monitor her during playtime and make sure she is interacting with toys appropriately. Toys that can easily be chewed apart, swallowed, or have small pieces should be avoided, and supervised play will be especially important for this curious little girl.

We strongly encourage anyone interested in Pearl to research the Persian breed beforehand, including their grooming requirements and the health concerns that can be associated with Persians. She may require a little more maintenance than your average kitty, and her future family should be prepared for the time and potential veterinary care that can come with owning this breed.

For someone ready to take on those extra responsibilities, Pearl is an absolute gem. She’s loving, friendly, beautiful, and happiest when surrounded by friends.. both human and feline. Pearl has so much affection to give and is ready to find a family who will love every fluffy, messy, wonderful little bit of her.
