Portraits for Paws Submission Form

Portraits for Paws is a fundraiser for Bandaged Paws Animal Rescue supported by professional artists and artistic animal lovers who will be recreating a photo of your beloved pet! To add a twist to it, this fundraiser is kind of like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're gonna get as photo submissions will be matched to artists at random! Your portrait recreation may end up being created by a 5 year old animal lover with crayons or a professional who creates treasured memories for a living or anywhere in between! We are keeping submission numbers low to give a 1 in 6 chance of being matched with a professional artist!!

Our professional artists have a wide array of skills using different mediums to recreate the portraits - acrylic painting, digital art, felting, photography, clay sculpting, watercolor painting, mixed medias, quilting and more! These amazing art pieces will be cherished keepsakes for years to come and have a value up to $600!! Throughout the submission and recreation period, we will be sharing biographies on each of our lovely artist so you can learn more about them and their amazing skill sets!

Our artistic animal lovers come in all ages and skill levels! We have art students, foster homes and volunteers ranging from ages 5-70 years old all wanting to help raise money to support our rescue efforts.

With all artists generously donating their time and talent, 100% of the proceeds will go directly to the animals.

Rules: How it works!

1. On April 17, 2021 at 5pm we will post a link to this event group for submitting photo entries. (The link to the submission form will be removed once submission max is reached.)

2. Each photo submission has a $35 entry fee. The entry fee needs to be sent immediately to reception@bandagedpaws.org for submission to be officially entered.

3. Submission deadline is April 24, 2021 at 5pm OR when the maximum submission number is reached – whichever comes first! Get your submission in early; there are limited spots available!

4. On April 25, 2021, each photo submission will be randomly matched to one of our artists of varying skill levels. Participants will be emailed as to who they have been matched with and an approximate timeline. Then the photos will be emailed to the artists to get started!

5. Depending on which artist you are matched with it could take 1 week to 3 months for your portrait recreation to be completed.

6. All portraits are required to be picked up in person at the Bandaged Paws facility in Grande Prairie, AB so please keep this in mind! We will not be shipping any items due to risk of damages.

7. Original photos and recreated portraits will be shared to the event group as they are completed so mark yourself as "Going" to receive notifications!
